We asked Claire a few questions about her experience working with us and our florals—read her thoughts below!

1. How did you find it using Florabelle’s faux florals? Did you feel it enhanced your installation at the Opera House at all, and what aspects of our florals stood out to you during the design process?

I first discovered Florabelle’s faux florals while passing by Alexander and The FDV. Using these florals was an excellent experience. They greatly enhanced my installation at the Sydney Royal Botanic Garden, next to the Opera House, particularly due to their durability and vibrant colors. I was particularly impressed by how lifelike the florals appeared and how well they retained their shape and form throughout the event.

3. Why do you believe faux florals, like those from Florabelle, are becoming increasingly popular in the floral industry, especially for high-profile installations?

 

Faux florals are becoming more popular due to their consistency, longevity, and versatility. They maintain their appearance over time without wilting, which is ideal for high-profile installations lasting several days. Additionally, the emphasis on sustainability and the reusability of faux florals contributes to their appeal, especially for outdoor events like this one, which will be held for 10 days.

 

4. Can you share any trends you’re noticing among customers regarding the use of faux florals, and how do you see this trend evolving in the near future?

 

Customers are increasingly seeking sustainable and long-lasting floral options. Faux florals are gaining traction for events where longevity and cost-effectiveness are key considerations. This trend is likely to continue, with growing appreciation for the environmental benefits and versatility of faux florals. I anticipate a rise in demand for high-quality, realistic faux florals that can be reused for multiple events. Additionally, jungle-themed faux florals are becoming very popular for special events and decorations.

 

5. What are your top tips for other florists looking to incorporate high-quality faux florals into their work, and how can Florabelle’s offerings enhance their designs?

 

My top tip for florists is to blend faux florals with real elements for a more natural look. Experimenting with different textures and colors can create depth and dimension in designs. Florabelle’s offerings are particularly advantageous due to their wide variety and realistic appearance, which can elevate any arrangement or installation.
